About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

This agent, in six years of Query Tracker history, has only requested a full once --in 2008, out of 1,027 queries.

There is no Query Tracker record of her ever offering representation to a Query Tracker query.

In six years, she has requested 10 partials--3 YAs, 1 literary, 2 short story collections, the rest not specified.

Other than that, she's a No Responder.

Most agents dont care about name dropping and see it as a ploy. Anyone can take an MFA course with a best seller who was assigned to them in a low residency program. Brett Lott, an Oprah Book Club member, was once my teacher at the Vermont College program. I never ever said he was my mentor. The only way name dropping works is if an author repped by that agent says, go read John Doe's book To Re-Kill a Dead Man. Then it works. Otherwise: "amateur."
