11/5/12--one year late, I requeried Karen for Chain Reaction. I forgot she left the agency and will scratch her off.

Thanks angelscribe. She's still listed on their website though, so I'm going to leave her listed but mark her as closed with a note that she has left the agency.

Got this email from Karen Gerwin, when I sent her a query, Patrick:
As of September 26, 2011, I am no longer at DeFiore and Company. If this is a query letter, please refer to the company website at www.defioreandco.com to select a different agent to whom to send your query. I will continue to receive e-mails to this address through March 2012. If you are a personal contact, I will respond to you with my new e-mail address. If you have any questions, please e-mail Madleyn Mahon at madleyn@defioreandco.com.

That means it isn't what they want/need/represent. It's a rejection. I emailed Karen Gerwin and in less than 24 hours got a rejection. Not sure they even read it as they didn't even bother with my name. Their loss.

I emailed Karen Gerwin on 10/25 and heard back from Brian Defiore today. It's a no. He said that they don't think it's a good fit for the special talents at his agency at this time. What does that mean, other than a rejection?
