About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

I did double-check Google. But just because Sarver WAS her last name, that doesn't mean it's part of her last name now. Many women move their maiden names to their middle names after marriage, which is usually indicated by lack of hyphenation. (I did that myself actually. And I was careful to use both names in situations where my maiden/middle name would be recognizable to folks who'd previously known of me.)

Given that, my guess is still that White is her last name. But regardless, I'm confident she'll forgive the mistake made in either direction.

Sarver White IS a double last name. It's just not hyphenated.

She got married sometime in 2013 (if I recall correctly), but she was working as an agent several years previous. Her info back in late 2012(and years before that) at Folio had her listed as Melissa Sarver.

ETA: This is why research is important- I just did a quick google search and found the same information given via interview. Writers: it's always good to double check with good ole Google :D

Just to chime in. I assumed Sarver White was a double last name (they aren't always hyphenated) so I addressed her as Ms. Sarver White. However, I like newbi1's approach. :)
