About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Only accepts queries on the 1st and 2nd of each month.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

I'm thrilled to say I'm now represented by Jennifer Mishler. Fran Black at the same agency was able to get my first book published through E-Lit Books, and Jennifer ended up offering representation based on my next manuscript. It's now out on submission. I'm a little surprised at actually getting to say those words! The ladies at Literary Counsel are fantastic.

EQ and enthusiastic FR (within 20 minutes--my fastest ever!): Jan 6

Totally wasn't expecting such a fast response--especially positive! (Those extra fast ones tend to be 'No!'). Just what I needed today, though, as I got a heart-breaking, "you-almost-made-it," personalized rejection on my full from someone else earlier today.

Here's hoping!
