About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

YA Fantasy

I got an Out of Office email in response, so if you're about to query, maybe give it a week if you want your query to be more visible amongst all of her accumulating emails!

EDIT: Decided to send an e-mail instead asking whether or not I should resubmit the partial she requested on 07/09. She replied 4 hours later with this message:

"Thanks so much for checking in. Would you mind resending those pages? I no longer have access to my old mailbox, unfortunately."

If you have a partial or full out with her, I would ask and see if she needs another copy. :)

Tweet her to ask what to do if we queried her via online form. she responded to me today and said:

no longer receiving queries through the ZSH contact form - only through

So resend to her there. Good luck!

Her new place doesn't list adult fantasy so I asked if she is still interested.

She said she still likes adult fantasy her tastes are the same just a different venue. So I will be resubmitting to her.

She's definitely switching agencies, but it won't be official until later in the year. As you can see by her Twitter bio, she'll be taking queries at Chalberg & Sussman.

I'd send her a message via Twitter to ask about the query situation, though my guess is that the queries will follow with her since they are queries TO her and not to the agency.

Hm... If she's switching companies, does that mean that our submissions move with her or do they stay with the original agency?
