Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.
Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).
Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.
And NEVER give money to an "agent".

11/15/12: sending requery to Shannon. I forgot to close out April query this summer with a NR. 12/26/12: Got a letter from Jan Miller instead, saying they're going to pass after they talked about my concept. Oh well. I'll try Shannon in 2013.
1/23/13--Requeried Shannon Marven for CR. 2/25/12--rejection from Jan Miller. Same rejection letter.
818: 6/20, I've submitted them again, though closed. Today I've heard back from them. They passed and said they talked about Chain Reaction. (They actually got the title wrong and called it Midnight Runner and not Chain Reaction.) They said they thought the concept was highly engaging though. That's not bad at all. Oh well.
