4/9/24 - Partial Request: About ten minutes after sending her my query, I received a response requesting a brief summary and the first fifty pages. I could not believe it!
Here's the win for me (and I hope it resonates with others who are moving through this less than easy process): prior to this, I have received almost 30 rejections. Last weekend, I spent so much time re-working on my query letter. Even if she rejects my work, I already feel like I have made progress. Finally, my query is garnering a request! Sending all my best to all my fellow aspirational authors!
