About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Finally queried Edward. I met him a few times and writing conferences at BYU a few years back when he was at McIntosh & Otis, but I wasn't ready to query. I took a weeklong middle-grade workshop from one of his author clients, Ann Dee Ellis, which really helped me to hone my skills.

So now I queried Edward at his new place. Crossing fingers! He's a great guy who seems to know the business. Looking forward to his response.

From today's Publishers Marketplace;

Edward Necarsulmer IV and Eleanor Jackson have joined Dunow, Carlson & Lerner. Necarsulmer was previously an agent at MacIntosh & Otis, and will focus on representing middle grade, YA, and adult literary fiction. Jackson was most recently an agent at Markson Thoma, which last week saw partner Geri Thoma move to Writers House.

Anyone know what happened to queries sent to him in January, or who is heading up the Children's dept at Otis now? He doesn't show up on Dunow's list yet...nor do they seem to have submission guidelines on their website. Thanks for any insights!
