About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Sent query on 7-17-2014 and was sent a one line return for first fifty and a bio and synopsis. I am crossing my fingers and willing for her to work with me as this is my first real traditional book deal. I have self pub in the past. Praying for good news!

Well the news was nothing but bad. I sent my first 50 of my MS to her and got my synopsis back in the mail stating for me to join a writers group and a business card, nothing else. Then I sent a email to her three weeks later and she acted like she never heard of me. Not only had she forgotten to reject or accept me, she completely forgot about me and did not even bother to send me a rejection letter stating that she had lost my email address. I bet she never read a word of my work.

Sorry to say it was all a waist of my time. Well God Bless!

11/30/13 I received my letter from Mary Sue stating that she didn't think my manuscript had what she had thought it did (I sent it to Nicole, MS intercepted it), but she wants me to send it to Nicole because she said she would want! UGH!!! So I sent it to Nicole per Mary Sue's instructions. That's why I sent it to Nicole, it was her genre, not Mary Sue's. Good Grief! Hope she finally gets to see it. heehee

Not sure if many have heard, but an author that is with Mary Sue said that she received an email (forwarded to me to read as well) and it was from Mary Sue stating that she was diagnosed with cancer (can't remember what kind) and that she was aggressively seeking treatment and leaving almost immediately. (October if I remember right) So, her husband (who works with her as bookkeeper, and reader) and Nicole will be handling the reins for sometime to come.

We wish her well. She was supposed to be reading my entire manuscript exclusively, what do I do now?

I originally sent it to Nicole and Mary Sue intercepted it.
