Sick and tired of getting CNRs from this agency. Putting the whole thing on my do not query list. Maybe they should endeavor to actually respond to author queries for a change.

So does anyone have any idea what the etiquette is about querying someone else at that agency after getting no response on a submission...? ^^;

8/13/2023: live-pitched at conference, resulting in partial request
8/24/2023: full request
9/25/2023: emailed me to apologize for delay in confirming receipt, my manuscript got buried in her inbox etc.

and here is where it gets a little confusing:

2/14/2024: emailed me that the manuscript wasn't up her alley, so she made a referral to a Colleague (not listed on QT). she said that Colleague reviewed my manuscript and unfortunately, was going to pass. Shared Colleague's extensive notes in the email message.

However, in the actual notes, Colleague says that if I agree with their thoughts on my work, and would be willing to take the time to revise, that they would be happy to see a new version of the manuscript. So was this actually a "pass," or a "revise and resubmit"? seems like the latter.

2/16/2024: I emailed Sian-Ashleigh, explaining my confusion about the above, and asking how I can eventually re-query to her Colleague. Hopefully I'll get clarity on this soon!
