Query Tracker Usage Agreement
(please read before joining Query Tracker)
By accessing “QueryTracker.net” (hereinafter "we", "QueryTracker") you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound
by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use QueryTracker.net.
QueryTracker.net may modify this agreement at any time and will notify users via a common post to the QueryTracker.net website whenever changes to this agreement
are made. Continuing to access or use QueryTracker.net after notification of changes to this agreement will signify your acceptance of the modified agreement.
Since content (including but not limited to information about literary agents) is provided by users, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information found on
QueryTracker.net and encourage all users to verify information before using it.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of
your country, the country where QueryTracker.net is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned from QueryTracker.net.
You agree that QueryTracker.net has the right to remove, edit, move or close any submitted information or data at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree
to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither QueryTracker.net nor the QueryTracker.net
creator shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
Privacy Agreement
Any information collected by QueryTracker.net about you and other users will not be distributed or disclosed to any third party.
Some information about you may be shared among other QueryTracker users, and is limited to the following:
- Your registered username at QueryTracker.net
- Any query letters which you have explicitly made public by saving them in the public section of an agent's profile.
- The status of your queries, whether public or not. Status information is limited to the date of milestones in your query's life such as when it was created, when it was mailed, and when
it was accepeted or rejected. Only the dates and states of these milestones are made public, actual query content is kept private unless you explicitly release it.
- Any posted comments, reviews, agent information, or any other information which you explicitly post in any of the common areas of QueryTracker.net.
