Am I back in 1970? Anyway--I'm guessing that no one will ever read this--I emailed a query here after my query to workman was returned as undeliverable. This one worked..

LOL. That's one I've never heard before. Any paper ms. that's been pulled out of an envelope, read, thumbed through, handled etc. and made a roundtrip via the USPS is probably not fit to be re-submitted elsewhere. You re-cycle and re-print a fresh manuscript.

Instead of a SASE, this publisher wants you to send a check to cover the cost of return mail.
I wouldn't.
