Nudged to offer revised MS: Feb 14/23
Replied to nudge confirming interest in revision: Feb 26/23 (I sent the revision straight away)
UPDATE: I nudged to offer the substantially revised MS. She works very gradually through her submissions so I don't expect to hear back any time soon. ALA is super cool and it's exciting to have captured Jennifer's interest.
UPDATE: Oh man I have zero chill. Didn't expect for her to reply to the nudge so soon, so it's a pleasant surprise. Of course, I'm gonna read into it too much and worry, bc she takes her time on projects she ends up pursuing, and quick replies from her usually lead towards a pass. Either way, I'm still elated to have captured her interest. I don't know if I believe in "dream agents" per se--I feel like my dream agent would simply be whoever believed enough in my MS to offer on it--but I truly admire many authors on the ALA roster. It's my top agency in terms of long-term career fit.
